Encouragement Unlimited, Inc.
has a number of ways that we encourage partnership. Many of these ways
are things that can be done quite simply.
Some examples include:
1. Sending a card or an email with a message congratulating
someone on a recent accomplishment (e.g., graduation, job promotion, or
a brand new baby).
2. Calling a loved one or close friend and telling him or her
how proud you are of them.
3. Letting someone at work know that you appreciate their hard
work and effort on a project.
4. Volunteering to welcome children as they come to school in
the morning. Nothing beats hearing a kind word and seeing a friendly face
as a child walks into the school.
5. Smiling and thanking a person serving you in a bank, a department
store, or restaurant, particularly if the person seems a little stressed.
6. Buying someone a meal or something to drink while you wait
in line at a fast food restaurant or coffee house.
It's just that easy, so get going. Someone you know needs encouragement
and you might just be the one who can give it to them. But, you will never
know until you try!
