P-PARTNERSHIP
Encouragement Unlimited, Inc. seeks to
partner with other organizations and agencies whose mission is to serve
low-income and at-risk populations. The plan is not to duplicate services
but rather to enhance the great work that is already being done. Encouragement
Unlimited also endeavors to encourage the people who serve in these organizations
and agencies with high-energy inspirational programs.
P-PROGRAMS
Encouragement Unlimited, Inc. provides
educational, motivational, and inspirational programs (e.g. workshops,
mentoring, and inspirational concerts) to reach it's target populations,
as well as the broader community.
P-POSTCARDS
Encouragement Unlimited, Inc. believes
that the more encouragement a person can get, the more productive the
person can be. With that in mind, the organization has developed a postcard
project that sends weekly "words of encouragement" to any person
who requests it or who is referred to us.
The ultimate goal with this project is to create an "army
of encouragers" who regularly send "words
of encouragement" to the people who need it the most. Postcards
project participants can be involved in several ways.
* Level 1 - Send a handwritten message on a postcard
to one or more persons once a month.
* Level 2 - Send a handwritten message on a postcard to one or more persons
bi-weekly.
* Level 3 - Send a handwritten message on a postcard to one or more persons
every week.
Note: The key to the success of this project is dedication and consistency.
Once you start to send postcards to people, you must be faithful to send
them regularly. We do not require that the person sending the postcards
check on whether they arrive or not, or even to call the person to whom
the postcard(s) are being sent. We just want to encourage as many people
as we can.
